Pathfinder Camp is our two-week traditional program for campers ages 7–12, perfect for both returning campers and those ready for their first time away from home. Each day is filled with classic camp fun like swimming, archery, and exploring nature. Campers also take part in a one-night canoe or backpacking trip on camp property — a safe, exciting way to build confidence, independence, and outdoor skills.
With just 10 campers and 2 counselors per cabin, every child receives personal attention while enjoying the excitement of group living and the joy of lasting friendships. Explorer Camp is the heart of Swift Nature Camp — a perfect choice for both returning campers and first-timers who are ready to spread their wings away from home. Campers enjoy classic outdoor fun — swimming, archery, crafts, nature exploration — plus unforgettable canoeing, backpacking, and biking trips designed to match each child’s age, skill, and comfort level. Adventure Camp combines Explorer 1 & 2 into one unforgettable extended session — giving your child more time to grow, make friends, and build lasting confidence. Our Teen Leadership Program is designed for young adults (16/17) who are too old to be campers and want to learn to be leaders at our campers. We will teach you how to motivate, care for and deal with young people. TLP's get hands on experience and responsibility in daily camp life situations. It is a great first job that is fun and teaches responsibility. Teen Leaders are role models for our campers. Our training will give you lifelong skills that are usable at work or at college. These include: Team Work, Critical Thinking, Creativity, Public Speaking and much more plus be outdoors with friends screen free. A bonus 2 weeks are available during Pathfinder for those that would like to spend more time at camp.
Leadership Program is Limited to 8 Boys & 8 Girls.

The Canadian Canoe Adventure is designed for 14-17 year old campers who are physically active and have prior canoeing experience. Explore the stunning wilderness of northern Minnesota and the Canadian Boundary Waters, paddling through pristine lakes, rivers, and forests while building teamwork, confidence, and outdoor skills. All equipment is included.
